Hi, I've finally am starting another crochet blog. I was a bit discouraged when the last blog host closed. You put yourself into these things one day and then they are gone, don't you feel like they should be there forever? Well in life things change whether we like it or not and sometimes we have to roll with them.
So here we go on a new adventure, a blogger blog.
I will use this forum to show my crochet, crochet I like, share things about my crochet friends and probably toss in a bit about my family and give Thanks and Praise to God, for without Him none of this would be possible. I have a few items for sale at www.VintageHooker.etsy.com
Today it is raining, a great crochet day!! It is my youngest son's first day back at school. He has been going to auto class at another school since last week but today he goes to his school. He graduates this year. Phew, I made it!! :-)) Four kids grown and graduated, I tell you I have some ideas of things I'd like to do in about 8 months, God willing! I also have 3 fantastic grandkids, a wonderful hubby, 9 horses, a few cats, a dog & some chickens. I like crochet and many other crafts. I am doing some redecorating in my 110 yr old farm house, slow but surely.
We keep busy with the 2 youngest kids sports, the one mentioned above, bowls and plays baseball, soon to start a fall baseball league. His sister, in college in KY, bowls and like us to come and watch usually in IN, OH, S IL. I love to travel.
The afghan above is one I made for my daughter to take to college. She picked the yarn color and I picked some of my favorite square patterns.
